The Best CBD Gummies: Savage CBD Gummies Review

CBD gummies have become an extremely popular way to take the therapeutic compound. They’re convenient and tasty, often packing a powerful punch with their CBD content. But not all CBD gummies are created the same. Today, we’re taking a look at gummies by Savage CBD.

Savage CBD gummies packaging

I have to preface this by saying I’m picky about packaging. The Savage CBD gummies came in a nice package that is easy to use, but my only complaint is the size. You get six gummies per package. Personally, I think a smaller package could be used for just six gummies to prevent waste.

But that’s not a big deal. I’ll give them a 4 out of 5 for packaging.

Savage CBD gummies potency

When it comes to edible CBD, I want something that is going to pack a powerful punch. As such, I typically avoid products with low CBD dosages because I know they will not give me the results I want.

That’s why these Savage CBD gummies get a 5/5 for potency. With 50 mg of CBD per gummy, I don’t have to worry that I am wasting my time and money eating these things. Although the digestive system will break down some of the CBD, at 50 mg, I don’t have to worry about losing effects.

I’ve also noticed some brands will offer more gummies than Savage, but their potency will be significantly lower. This means users end up needing to eat three or four to get the effects of just one Savage gummy. So while I was initially disappointed to only have six gummies in the package, I quickly realized it’s more efficient than some other gummies I’ve seen. Users can even cut these gummy worms in half and eat half a dose.

CBD gummy flavor and effects

There’s nothing worse than eating an edible product and having it taste like the plant it came from. With Savage CBD gummies, this is never a problem.

They taste JUST. LIKE. CANDY. They’re perfectly sour and sweet and satisfy a serious sweet tooth. Seriously. I would never know these gummies contain CBD. If I wasn’t mindful of my dosage, I would have easily eaten the whole package. 5/5.

I ate one CBD gummy to start. Beyond being delicious, I noticed about an hour later that I felt calm and in control. I purposefully waited to try a gummy until a morning when I was feeling overwhelmed and stressed. That’s when I find CBD gives me the best results.

About an hour after consumption, I realized the gummies work. For me, it was extremely subtle. That’s how CBD usually works for me since I do not typically use CBD gummies for pain or other reasons. It’s more of a way to find calm or relax. And that’s how I felt after eating the gummy. I was capable of getting my work done and felt in control of my thoughts, along with a decrease in tension. 5/5 for effects.

Final thoughts on Savage gummies

Whether you’re looking for the best CBD gummies for sleep, pain, or other reasons, I highly recommend trying Savage CBD gummies. Not only are they delicious, but they are of high quality and really work. That’s why I give them a 19/20 overall.

Don’t look for the best CBD gummies on Amazon or elsewhere. Start by looking at the individual brands and taking note of their testing practices. We love Savage CBD because they test their products for pesticides, heavy metals, solvents, and microbial contaminants.

Full Spectrum vs Isolate: A Look at the Different Types of CBD

Stuck choosing between the different types of CBD? It can be difficult to sort through all of the information available and decide the perfect type of CBD for you.

Keep in mind that CBD works differently for everybody. Your friend may have great results with one type, while you don’t feel noticeable effects. On the other hand, what works for you may not work for someone else. That’s because there are so many different types of CBD available for different needs.

Once you’ve decided between full spectrum CBD, broad spectrum CBD, or CBD isolate, there are still more considerations to make. You may have to experiment with different methods of consumption and work to optimize bioavailability

There’s a lot of information to take in. But don’t worry. We’ll break down the various types of CBD so you can choose the perfect type for your needs without any confusion.

What are the different types of CBD?

When you shop for CBD, you’ll notice there are multiple types of CBD. Some products are labeled “full spectrum,” some are labeled “broad spectrum,” and others are called “CBD isolate.” These are the main types of CBD you’ll run into.

What is full spectrum CBD?

Full spectrum CBD comes from hemp. CBD is just one compound present in hemp, though. There are many other cannabinoids in the hemp plant besides CBD, including THC. Full spectrum CBD includes all of the cannabinoids present in the plant. This means there is some THC in full spectrum products.

Now, you may be worried that full spectrum CBD will get you high. The answer is no. CBD is legal in the United States so long as the THC percentage is below 0.3%. This is not enough to be intoxicating.

The benefit of using full spectrum CBD is that you may experience stronger effects. Along with cannabinoids, hemp has a lot of terpenes. Terpenes are compounds that carry unique aromas and flavors. Various terpenes provide different effects.

With full spectrum CBD, you may experience a phenomenon coined the “entourage effect.” The entourage effect was coined by scientists who found that all of the plant parts can work together to create stronger therapeutic effects. Basically, full spectrum CBD may be more effective because all of the plant parts can work together to create a symbiosis.

What is broad spectrum CBD?

Broad spectrum CBD is very similar to full spectrum. It contains cannabinoids and terpenes and can provide the “entourage effect” used to describe full spectrum CBD.

However, broad spectrum CBD contains no THC. It’s removed from the final product but the other cannabinoids and compounds remain.

For someone who wants the benefits of the full plant effects without any trace of THC, broad spectrum is a good choice. It’s a middle ground between full spectrum and CBD isolate, which we’ll get to next.

What is CBD isolate?

CBD isolate is exactly what it sounds like: isolated CBD. There are no other compounds present in CBD isolate. Which means there will be no “entourage effect” when you use it.

CBD isolate is the purest form of CBD, in that there are no other compounds present. For users who want to completely avoid THC and other compounds, CBD isolate is a great choice.

What is the best type of CBD?

Now that we’ve broken down the different types of CBD, you may have a better understanding of the products on the market. Still, you may be wondering what the best type of CBD is for your personal needs.

There is no concrete answer. It comes down to lifestyle and personal preferences.

You see, many people opt for CBD isolate. Sometimes it’s because they’re specifically avoiding THC, and sometimes because they believe that the highest concentration of CBD will deliver the best results. And for some people, it may. But it’s important to keep in mind that CBD is not the only therapeutic compound in hemp. And for some, the synergy between all of the plant compounds makes a big difference.

That’s why full spectrum and broad spectrum CBD are both so popular. Many people choose to use these products because they find the effects to be more therapeutic. On the other hand, users who are strictly avoiding THC may opt to avoid using full spectrum because, even though the legal THC level is low and non-intoxicating, they don’t want any in their system.

Finding the right CBD for you may be a game of trial and error. You may need to try a few products before you find the right one. And even then, you’ll need to play around with the dosage before you find your optimal amount.

More tips for choosing the best types of CBD

Beyond figuring out the type of CBD you want to use, there are some other considerations.

First is the method of consumption. Do you plan to vaporize CBD or do you plan to take a tincture under your tongue? Or maybe you’d rather eat a CBD gummy or edible.

Vaporizing or taking a tincture under the tongue will take effect quicker than if you eat CBD. Plus, you’ll get more of the product because your digestive system will not break any of it down. It will also wear off quicker.

On the other hand, eating CBD will take longer for effects. And less CBD may reach the bloodstream because the digestive system will break it down. However, the effects will be longer lasting when you eat CBD than if you vaporize or take it sublingually.

Purity and potency

Perhaps the most important factor is the quality of CBD. It’s an unregulated market that is subject to a lot of inconsistencies.

It is crucial to shop for CBD that has been tested for purity and potency. This ensures that the amount of CBD listed is accurate and confirms that there aren’t other contaminants present. Heavy metals, solvents, and other impurities can end up in CBD products and be harmful to humans and animals.

To ensure you are purchasing pure, potent CBD, look for a product that has been tested in an ISO-accredited laboratory. Accredited laboratories have proven that they can meet industry standards for accurate testing.

And if you’re not sure how to read the lab results, don’t worry. Check out our guide for how to read a COA so there is no confusion.

Self-Care Spa Days With CBD Bath Bombs and Topicals

We have talked a lot about self-care lately. It’s a way of looking inside, respecting your own needs and boundaries, and recharging. Everyone should practice self-care when possible. And for many of us, we need to practice it a lot more often. Especially right now.

It’s easier said than done, though. Lives are busy and slowing down to take care of our own needs can be difficult. That’s why there are so many different types of self-care. Sometimes it’s taking a long walk, other times it’s a nap or binging on your favorite television show. And sometimes it’s an all-encompassing spa experience, complete with CBD bath bombs and your favorite chocolate.

We all deserve one every once in a while. The experience can be elevated even more with the help of CBD. Many people have caught on to this, including businesses offering CBD spas and massages and companies selling CBD bath bombs. It’s easy to have a soothing CBD spa experience at home, too. We’ll teach you how.

Give yourself a facial with a CBD face mask

There are plenty of CBD face masks available on the market. Just be sure to choose one that has been tested by an ISO-accredited laboratory for purity and potency. It’s important that you put only pure products on your skin for the best results.

And if you don’t want to buy a CBD face mask, it’s super easy to make your own. All you have to do is add some CBD oil to your favorite homemade face mask recipe. You can customize the ingredients based on your skin needs. Honey, oats, citrus, and aloe vera are all great starting points for a homemade mask.

Why use a CBD face mask?

CBD is an effective anti-inflammatory agent. Skin conditions typically stem from inflammation and irritation. Acne, rashes, discoloration, and itchiness all arise when the skin becomes inflamed.

We also have evidence that CBD may decrease excess oil production in the skin. This may be useful for reducing acne and preventing clogged pores. Additionally, CBD works as an antioxidant, which means it may help reduce the effects of aging.

Face masks are already designed to improve skin quality. They can hydrate, remove excess oil, and improve your skin’s appearance. A good mask will remove impurities and help unclog pores. Add CBD to the mix and you’ve got a powerful skincare tool for the best self-care spa day.

Soak in the tub with a CBD bath bomb

If you want to take your relaxation to the next level, a CBD bath bomb may be the right choice. With the combined, soothing effects of aromatherapy and CBD, you’ll come out of the experience feeling relaxed and at peace.

Athletes trying to relieve achy joints and muscles and stressed-out mothers alike will love the restorative effects of a CBD bath.

Baths are therapeutic and soothing on their own. When you add CBD to the mix, it can take it to the next level.

Use a CBD soak for your feet

Don’t want to take a bath? Or maybe you want to keep the self-care coming after bathtime. Whatever the case, a CBD foot soak may be the solution.

There are plenty of CBD bath salts available for use in a foot soak. You can also use your favorite bath salts and add some CBD oil to the mixture for a similar effect. Additionally, you can use CBD bath bombs to fill your foot bath with soothing ingredients.

Foot soaks are a great way to destress and feel refreshed. You’ll get relief from being on your feet all day, shed some dead skin, and feel softer than ever.

Final thoughts on CBD self-care with topicals

Self-care is a journey. It’s not a single act. Instead, it’s a combination of choices that benefit you in the long-term. Whether that’s taking care of your mental health, exercising, or just taking time to unwind, it’s so important to listen to your body.

When you need some serious self-care, try a spa day. It’s easy to pull off at home and will leave you feeling refreshed. The addition of CBD can take your spa day to the next level. Just be sure to choose high-quality CBD products that have been tested for purity and potency. Choosing safe products is a form of self-care in itself.
