About Premium CBD

Our Promise

Premium CBD empowers CBD users to choose products that are pure, potent, and gimmick-free. We spotlight brands that test for purity and potency through ISO accredited labs only.

Our Verification Process

Premium CBD verifies products by tracing their batch test results back to the testing laboratory. We then confirm the laboratory is ISO accredited. Please read more about ISO Accreditation in our Article “What is ISO Accreditation and Why is it Important?

Batch testing means testing a batch of the actual product offered, not just the CBD oil used. For the safest, highest quality CBD, the entire final product should be tested for potency and purity including screens for pesticides, heavy metals, microbial contaminants and solvents.

Premium CBD checks that products are hemp-derived and meet the <0.3% THC Farm Bill requirement. Then we check that the CBD content on the label matches the ISO lab results. Finally, we verify the presence of other cannabinoids if the product is labeled as full or broad-spectrum and verify the absence of cannabinoids if the product is labeled isolate or THC free.

Premium CBD promotes brands that test for purity and potency with ISO accredited labs. That does not mean we are here to condemn brands that test with other labs. ISO accredited labs are expensive and we acknowledge this. But they are also the most capable and can produce the most reliable results.

Our database is able to survive by receiving affiliate commissions from some of the brands that we list. However, we will list any CBD product in our database if we can verify its purity and potency whether or not we receive a commission. We encourage you to access PremiumCBD as an education resource and when seeking the purest CBD products. Check back often. We update the database daily to keep you current and empowered to make the very best buying decisions for you, your pets and your loved one.

Please stay healthy and hopeful in these uncertain times.

Im Paige Clark, a mother, lawyer, CPA, yoga instructor, equine masseuse and the Founder of Premium CBD.

After a serious horseback riding accident in 2019, I started using CBD to manage my pain. I learned how inconsistent CBD labels can be. Oftentimes, I couldnt find lab results for purity and potency, or the results I found were inconsistent. I learned that because the FDA is not yet regulating CBD, some CBD companies do the minimum to get their products to market.

This lack of regulation of CBD products is a major problem. Consumers should know if a company is testing their products and what theyre testing for. Most importantly, they should know if the tests are accurate.

After consulting with accreditation professionals, quality control lab scientists, and brand managers, our team developed a verification process. We confirm information on labels by tracing data back to their testing laboratories and then verify that the laboratories are qualified to perform tests.
